A snapshot of the 'Milky Water' series. The photograph was shot in Wanaka, New Zealand. In summer, with the melting glacial waters, and Lake Wanaka rises, surrounding the tree and isolating it from the shoreline. Over the years, the tree has gathered quite a following, with throngs of tourists visiting it annually. Behind you can see the Southern Alps .
